ONTARIO, OH - Game Day Haircuts celebrated their grand reopening on Saturday after the business changed hands earlier in the year.

New co-owners Buffie Briscoe and Afiya Phinnessee, who also work as stylists at the shop, took over the business in July. Since then, the pair have endeavored to challenge themselves with new services and offerings, including some new styles.

"We do haircuts, waxing with ears and nose, a hot towel service with shampoos... that's really relaxing for men," Afiya explained. "Now, with our barber services, we can use razoring. The girls that don't do barber services have tools that can get pretty darn close to skin fades."

On top of new services to offer clients, the business is also looking for other ways to solicit new clients to get them to visit and try out some of the services offered in the shop.

"We have been working on our customer service," Afiya said. "We're actually trying to get more on the tech side. We're trying to work on an app and a way for our clients to sign up online. There has been some discussion about different locations."

GameDay Cuts is located at 894 Lexington-Springmill Road. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
