Crestline Man Arrested For Felonious Assault Of 72-year old

CRESTLINE,OH- A Crestline man has been taken into police custody after being a suspect in an assault on an elderly citizen.

31-year old Allen R. Milligan II was arrested on Wednesday, by Crestline Police for a felonious assault on a 72-year old man.

The Crestline Police Department was made aware of a 72-year old male being treated in the emergency room at Avita Hospital in Ontario and appeared to be the victim of an assault. 

Officers responded to the alleged location on E. Main St. and questioned several people in the home regarding the victim's injuries and the victim at the hospital. 

As a result of the investigation, Milligan was identified as a suspect and arrested. He was then transported to the Richland County Jail. 

The victim was transported to OSU Medical Center due to the severity of his injuries. 

No further information has been given at this time because the case is active and ongoing.
